1. Basic structure: A complete exothermic welding mold usually includes the mold body and, top cover. The mold body is composed of parts such as the mold cover, mold cavity, welding cavity, and flow guide groove.
2. Necessary accessories: When in use, it must be used in conjunction with a mold clamp to hold the mold tightly. Common types include standard type and eccentric type.
3. Service life: The lifespan of a mold is typically between 50 and 200 cycles. The exact number depends on the quality of the mold, whether the operation is standardized, and the subsequent cleaning and maintenance conditions.

How to extend the service life of molds. Correct use and maintenance can significantly extend the service life of molds.
1. Adequate cooling: After welding is completed, it is recommended to wait for 15 to 20 seconds before opening the mold. If the time is too short, it may affect the welding quality; if it is too long, it may cause the weld points to stick to the mold and damage the mold cavity.
2. Timely cleaning: After each use, it is essential to thoroughly clean the residual welding slag in the mold cavity with a brush or iron brush. This is crucial for ensuring the quality of the next welding and maintaining the mold's lifespan.
